Sept. 13-14, 2008
Chicago SCCA Double Regional
Road America, Elkhart Lake, Wi.
This was a weekend of rain. Ron and the crew have never had to compete with the SCCA car on a wet track; let alone in a steady rain. With plenty of RAINEX on the windshield and most all body seams tapped up; Ron qualified and raced the Heil Heating & Cooling Monte Carlo on both days.
TRO Challange Series Points were on the line here. Ron drove to a second place finish on both Saturday and Sunday. These feature finishes have placed Ron in a solid 1st place in the standings for the SPO Class, with only one more race to go.

Governors Cup, Milwaukee Mile, West Allis, Wi.
We brought the MidAmerican Series race car to this event which was held on the famous one mile track at THE MILE. A very competitive group of 38 cars qualified and raced on Saturday. Ron started the race towards the rear, since the top 14 cars were inverted and placed at the front of the field. Ron drove a steady race and moved up to a twelve place finish. A respectable finsh for Rons only 2008 oval race.
Aug. 3, 2008
Lions Club Race, 151 Speedway, Columbus, Wi.
Dale brought the Bilda Friess Lake Pub Monte Carlo to this race. Being Dale's last race of the year, he was intent to do well.
The Feature at this event had Dale starting 2nd last due to a full field invert. It did not take long for Dale to catch the leaders and finish a strong 3rd; right on the rear bumper of the leader. This was the fifth race in a row where the Feature went green to checker without a yellow. That makes for excellent competition to watch and to compete in.

Lions Club ShootOut Race, Slinger Super Speedway, Slinger Wi.
Dale drove the MidAmerican Monte Carlo at this Saturday nite race. Having many years of experience at this track; Dale was the car to beat. The Feature field invert placed Dale on the front row outside. At the drop of the green; Dale jumped to the lead and never looked back. The top three cars lapped the field like a freight train. One slip and you would lose your postion. Dale kept his focus and took the checker in 1st place!
June 18, 2008
Jefferson Speedway, Jefferson, Wi.
Dale took the MidAmerican Monte Carlo sponsored by, Bilda's Friess Lake Pub and the Pioneer Bowl, to this Lions Club Event. With all the flooding in the area, it was a surprise so seea large croud in the stands. Because of flood detours, Dale arrived late and with no practice, still qualified in second quick. The feature was a mix of MidAm and Limited Late models. Dale did his best with an ill-handling car, and pulled out a third place finish. A clean race, green flag to checker with no yellows. This is the third Lions Feature Race in a row that went green to checker without a caution. This says alot about the quality of these MidAm and LLM drivers .
