The Milwaukee Mile is a historic race track. A win here is a race to remember . On this day Ron not only finished 1st in the SPO class of race cars but won overall in his group of cars

Dale drove Dave Obermeyers car at this race. The car was fast and started on the front row. Dale went on to WIN that race.

That evening Dale also won the Sportsmen Heat Race. Congratulating Dale is Lions District Governor.

The Heil Heating and Cooling Monte Carlo hits a speed of 165MPH and then does heavy braking for the hard left hand turn in corner #5 at Road America.

The #07 car started the race midpack, since the fastest cars are inverted towards the rear of the field Midway through the race, Ron closes in on the second place car. It wasn’t long before Ron passed this #3 car and finished the race in 2nd place.

Dale and the #3 car of Scott Bohl ran side by side for many laps. Both cars were fast with the #3 edging out the #07 at the flag in the heat race.

This was a special weekend. Ron accomplished a very big feat on this race day. He not only was fastest qualifier in his group of cards but, also set a ONE LAP TRACK RECORD in the SPO class of cars.

Any short track racer in the Mid-West looks to earn a win at The Oktoberfest Race Weekend. This win put Ron Weyer officially into the record books. When you count your racing achievements on one hand, an Oktoberfest win needs to be one of them.

The Richfield, Wisconsin Lions Club had three members in the top six in season points. 1st place, Lion Kurt Brown, 2nd place, Lion Dale Weyer and 6th place, Lion Scott Bohl.

The most prestigious award is left for last. All 15 of the participating Lions Clubs cast one vote per club for the member who stands out as a Lion who puts forth a great effort to make this Race Program a success. It was a huge honor for Dale when he was named the 2011 Driver Of The Year .
