July 2017 Slinger Speedway Practice Day

This was a great, fun day. Dale rented Slinger Speedway, for the entire day. The #07 Monte Carlo was driven by Dale Weyer, Ryan Weyer and Rick Kanter . Helping that day were Ron Burkwald and Dale Graef.

Ryan Weyer, 2017 Dell Motor Speedway Series Champ, drives a full size race car for the 1st time. It was impossible to get the smile off his face, when he was finished.

Last it was Rick Kanters chance to drive the #07. This was Ricks 1st time in an oval track race car. And it only took him a half a dozen turns around the track to figure it out; and turn some quick laps.

Being here is the real deal. Speeds reach 190MPH+. The Daytona Road Course, uses both high banked corners and the infield track. Total distance for one lap is 3.2 miles.
