After having had a great 3rd place qualifying lap; Crew Chief Howard Mess and Dale Graef ready Ron's #07 for the big feature race.

A field of 25+ cars , on the pace lap, lining up and going for the green. Tensions are high . . Chief Spotter Howard, is up in the high grandstand tower calling the shots.

A spectacular finish to a perfect day . . The plan leading up to this day was to clean up Dale's old oval track car and bring it to this race and have fun. Everything was going perfect, no trouble, then this happened. After a series of the usual on-the-track cautions, Ron found himself in the top five. Dale called up to Howard and asked how Ron looked ? . . Howard says
